Instruction consists of a week-long workshop consisting of lecture, computer workshops, and individualized consultations. The emphasis is the practical and not statistical, but those seeking more statistical information can arrange a specialized session. Participants are encouraged to bring their own data and are encouraged to contact the staff beforehand so that the data are in a format appropriate for the specialized software.

This event will focus on healthy environments and will highlight research on disease prevention and health promotion with a special emphasis on approaches and tools for assessing health challenges and opportunities in specific settings as well as for developing and evaluating effective interventions.

This national consulation process will include a consultation at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, July 9 from 1-4pm.
