department heads in two departments in the Faculty of Medicine.

My research interests
are in two areas:
1.
Pediatric pain including the measurement and treatment
of recurrent and acute pain, understanding of pain in the context of the
family, and health services for pain
2.
Development, evaluation and implementation of methods
of delivering psychosocial care for families with mental health and chronic
illness problems using appropriate technologies including telephone, web,
computer kiosk, video and personal digital assistants
Recent
teaching has been: Introductory
psychology (large format, 900+ students) and Graduate course in clinical
research design in both Clinical Psychology and Health Informatics and a
graduate class in Child Psychopathology.
